Ian Josephs has put together some of the most disturbing evidence of mal-practice by social workers involved in adoptions in a book (which I would consider essential reading for everyone with an interest in this subject) and on his website.

To many people, it would seem like pure fiction but sadly it is the truth about a very badly broken system of social care in the UK that has come under fire from some of the most prominent judges. Yet still it is allowed to continue to wreck the lives of innocent families in the most callous manner.
